I am writing regarding the disgraceful upkeep of land fronting Beulah Hill in Upper Norwood.
Since the trees were massacred last year, the land has not been looked after, despite several warnings from Croydon Council and despite a petition presented to the council by Councillor Pat Ryan of Upper Norwood at September's meeting.
Residents are now avoiding the pavement and walking in the road as the foliage from this land has now grown over the payment. How much more do we have to ask our council to protect us?
MR G O'HARE Beaulah Hill
