Four families enjoyed Christmas in Epsom and Ewell thanks to the efforts of housing officers.
Rosebery Housing Association worked hard to ensure temporary accommodation flats were returned to a good standard so residents could move in.
Officers were out until Christmas Eve checking residents had settled into flats in Berridale and Phoenix Court, Epsom, and Celia Court, West Ewell.
Jasmine Forrestal, her two-year-old daughter and eight-month-old son moved into Celia Court on December 21.
Ms Forrestal said: "I’m really happy to be living in my new flat, so my two children can enjoy Christmas in a more suitable home.
The family had previously lived in a bed and breakfast in Streatham and then a place in Carshalton.
She said: "Neither was suitable because they were too far from Epsom, where my mother and sister live.
"I felt very isolated. I’m so pleased to be back in the area.
"Thanks to Rosebery, my family will have a wonderful Christmas this year."
Sally Bayliss, head of housing at Rosebery, said: "We understand how important it is for residents to live near to their families during the festive season.
"If we can do our bit by moving them into flats within Epsom and Ewell before Christmas, then it will help to make the holiday a more special time for them."
