As families prepare to take down Christmas trees and decorations over the coming days, recycling collections are due to begin.
Everyone living in Epsom and Ewell can leave their Christmas tree next to their green rubbish bin to be picked up on normal rubbish collection days from Monday.
Meanwhile people living in Mole Valley should cut up their trees and put them in their garden waste bin.
Alternatively trees can be taken to Ashtead Peace Memorial Car Park, from today until January 11, or the Community Recycling Centre in Randalls Road, Leatherhead.
Over in Reigate and Banstead people who subscribe to the Garden Waste Service can place their Christmas tree in or next to their brown bin for collection.
Members who use garden waster sacks can leave their tree at the edge of their property in a clearly visible place.
Those who are not members are advised to take their tree to a Community Recycling Centre such as the one in Blenheim Road, Epsom.
Non-members can also ask a neighbour for permission to share their garden waste brown bin and place the Christmas tree in it.
