The new schedule which gives a choice of three buses an hour from 7am to 7pm is greatly appreciated by most users.
The drawback is the last bus leaves Worcester Park station at 8.05pm which only adds one extra bus. There is a total imbalance in the schedules as there are five buses arriving at Worcester Park station from Sutton Hospital after this time, the last of leaving the hospital at 9.18pm.
Can someone explain why the timetable is so lopsided? It would be of benefit to commuters who use the station, if buses could at least run up to 9pm.
I suggest that Transport For London (TfL) rethink the schedule now that it has been in operation for two months and reassess users' needs. Often during the day the buses are empty. TfL should refocus the service on busy times and consult the local route operator.
