Churches donated hampers of food to offenders on probation over the Christmas period.
Staff from the London Probation Trust's Croydon branch appealed to local churches for donations in December.
One church, the New Life Christian Centre in Cairo New Rd, even tailor-made hampers for offenders and their families.
A probation trust spokesman said: "The credit should really go to those that donated items as without the generosity of local Churches the project would not have been possible.
"Every single item donated went to a worthy individual and hopefully will have contributed to desistance from offending at a time that many find particularly difficult."
