An MP is looking for one of his constituents to step up and help him serve the borough.
Carshalton and Wallington MP Tom Brake is looking for a politics enthusiast to join him as an apprentice caseworker.
The role is paid and will involve the successful candidate helping Mr Brake in his constituency office while spending one day a week studying for a business and administration qualification.
Mr Brake said: "I would like to do my share to promote apprenticeships and am looking for an apprentice caseworker to help me in my constituency office. It is an exciting opportunity, and I am really hoping to see many applications from the Carshalton and Wallington area.
"Apprenticeships are an excellent way for young people to get hands-on training and skills they can use in today’s tough economy. They can help make small business stronger by harnessing fresh talent. In the fight against youth unemployment, paid apprenticeships should be one of our weapons of choice."
Applications close on Friday, February 22.
