I enjoyed the good humoured comments of Nygel Miller (PM Boris? Please No!, Your Say, January 24).
He appears unaware that Boris Johnson twice defeated Ken Livingstone to take both his terms of office as Mayor of London. That's no mean feat. As you admit "this man is a great showman".
I can assure you Nygel, Boris would use this great talent to brighten up the world stage, bringing a smile to the poker-faced Angela Merkel. Sorting out the world's problems with the honesty you so admire.
