Leading employers gathered last week to voice opinions on key issues affecting the town at the inaugural meeting of the Croydon Occupiers Forum.
The event was organised by the Develop Croydon Forum and Croydon Business Improvement District (BID) with about 30 businesses represented at the meeting.
It took place at Allianz Global Assistance, in George Street. Their chairman Mike Webb told the Croydon Guardian last week that more needed to be done to encourage big businesses to Croydon.
Mr Webb said it was a good first meeting and hoped it would benefit the town in the future.
He said: "We want to encourage more companies to stay in Croydon and also more businesses to come here and restore its traditional position as London’s back office."
