If you go down to Epsom next weekend prepare for a big surprise as Alice Bear, a hospice mascot, will be out collecting money.
Alice Bear, the mascot for Princess Alice Hospice, will join charity workers and volunteers for a special collection day at the Ashley Centre next Saturday, February 23.
Princess Alice Hospice provides specialist palliative and end of life care to patients and their families both at the hospice and in their homes in Epsom and surrounding areas.
Community fundraiser Lucy Webster said: "We are asking everyone who comes along to the Ashley Centre on Saturday 23 February to bring along and donate a teddy bear or cuddly toy.
"All donations will then be re-packaged and used on our teddy tombola stalls at future community fundraising events."
Princess Alice Hospice relies on donations and fundraising to provide their services.
