Students at Croydon High School have raised over £16,000 in memory of a former student.
The annual fashion show by sixth form students, raised money for leukaemia and lymphoma charity the Forget Me Not fund.
The charity was chosen as it was founded by former student Nicole Favre, who lost her battle to acute myeloid leukaemia in 2004.
Pupils smashed their fundraising target of £4,000 and last week presented a cheque for £16,388.55 to the charity.
Every year since Nicole's death students at the school have fundraised for her charity.
Students annually compete in the Purley Swimathon and last Thursday her younger sister Jennifer, who attends Croydon High, participated in her memory.
