Students at a South Croydon school got the chance to quiz their local MP about politics last week.
Richard Ottaway visited Royal Russell School in Coombe Lane on Friday to chat to post-16 pupils about the role of MPs and the select committee system.
Politics students grilled Mr Ottaway, chair of the foreign affairs select committee, about key issues such as international terrorism, the European Union and the Arab Spring.
