A nursery celebrated its 10th anniversary with a day of fun and games.
Sutton Montessori Nursery in Robin Hood Lane was founded 10 years ago with just four children on its books. Now it has 50, many of whom were around to celebrate the anniversary with a party.
Among the celebrations was the birthday walk - a Montessori tradition where an ellipse is drawn on the floor and people walk around it talking about their memories. Usually it is done on children's birthdays but, in this case, people talked about their memories of the nursery.
Principal Vandana Gilpin said: "It's been lovely to see the nursery develop. I've been here six years. Everyone seemed to enjoy the party - we had Jebb the Jester doing juggling, unicycling and blowing up balloon, which went down well."
