In response to L.Warr's letter, (about the closure of Tattenhams Library in last month’s snowfall) my husband is one of many volunteers at Tattenhams Library.  He is retired and elderly like so many of the other volunteers.

In adverse weather conditions, it is surely common sense not to venture out unless
absolutely necessary.  L.Warr is so typical of the public who cannot be bothered to
help voluntary services in any way but are more than happy to sit in a cosy warm
lounge and criticise.
