Dog walkers are being invited to use their local knowledge to help police detect crimes and make Epsom, Ewell and Cheam safer.
Owners are invited to meet the safer neighbourhood team at a Dog Walkers Watch event at Nonsuch Park, near Mansion House, Cheam, on Saturday, February 16, between 10am and 2pm.
The police team said: "We know that as a dog walker you know the streets you walk and can easily tell if something is out of place or not right, and this is a vital in helping us to detect crime in your area."
