Contrary to Councillor Jonathan Cook’s letter last week, it is a nightmare to order new recycling bags.

I ran out of bags three collections ago. I have telephoned and emailed each Friday since and still no bags have appeared.  I spoke to a woman at waste services who told me she has requested some for next week, so I now have four weeks of throwing  out instead of recycling. 

If 200 people a day are requesting bags, then surely this shows that the new system of bag collections is not working.
