A forlorn lover is hoping to be reunited with her date after he lost his phone and all contact with her.
Soraya Elseaud decided to give love a try after meeting rugby player James Clark and was looking forward to the hooker from Richmond visiting her in Bournemouth.
Days before the pair were due to meet again, Miss Elseaud received a message from Mr Clark’s number saying his phone had been left in a bar in Richmond but was about to run out of battery.
The 34-year-old said: “He mentioned that he was going on a night out and then I got a message from the bar saying they have his phone.
“I must have been one of the last people to be in contact with him so they got in touch with me.
“Because we had just met I don’t have an address or home number for him.”
In the spirit of St Valentine, Miss Elseaud is now appealing for help to track down her lost love, and she was hopeful they have a bright future together as a couple.
She said: “I have never been like this before but we got on so well and it would be nice to be reunited in the week of Valentine’s.
“I am literally clutching at straws. Whoever knows him please get in touch so we can tell him where his phone is and meet up.”
