Christmas temps have been been rewarded with new year gifts - in the form of full-time jobs.
Eleven seasonal workers have secured permanent roles at John Lewis at Home in Purley Way, Croydon.
Glynis Gunning-Stevenson, branch manager, said: “It’s fantastic that we have been able to offer some of our temps permanent roles at John Lewis at Home Croydon.
“Our recruitment process for temps is very similar to how we recruit permanent partners, so if someone does well in a short-term position, it’s likely they’ve got the skills and acumen needed for longer term roles."
