Police were called to Nando's in Balham yesterday afternoon after a fight broke out.
Staff and diners grew concerned when a large group of men at a table started arguing.
The argument quickly escalated and several of the group started trading blows.
Shocked staff called police but the group ran away before they arrived.
A spokesman for Wandsworth police said: "We were called to Nando's in Balham High Road at 3.30pm on February 14.
"A group of males were sitting eating together when a dispute broke out which escalated into an affray."
Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage and are investigating the possible involvement of two vehicles.
