An annual quiz night for staff and parents at a Croydon school raised over £900.

The event at St Peter's Primary School, saw 13 teams go head to head through rounds including sport, literature, general knowledge and science.

Hardy's fish bar provided quizzers with a fish and chip dinner and a grand raffle was held for prizes including dinner at the Selsdon Park Hotel, lunch at Oscars Brassiere and tickets to shows at Fairfield Halls.

The fundraiser, which was held for the school's Playground Appeal, raised £960.
