I refer to the recent letter regarding the withdrawal of the blood sampling service from the jubilee clinic in Shotfield.
It has been revealed the fire and emergency exit plan was not safe. Was this a design fault? Was the building or part of it not fit for purpose?
Was it lack of instruction to staff on the correct procedure and method of escape for all those in the building? What a flimsy excuse.
The result has now become the overloading at St Helier and 50+ patients waiting at 10am. This leads to extra stress on staff and grumbling patients.
Where is the Better Service, Better Value in this situation?
