A man punched a teenager to the ground and demanded his wallet in broad daylight last week.
Three men cornered the 19-year-old in Longmead Road, Epsom, and forced him to hand over his wallet on Wednesday, February 13, at 10.15am.
The men, all white, approached the teenager between both entrances of Gibraltar Crescent and are believed to have arrived and left in a white flat bed lorry.
The victim was not injured during the mugging.
One of the men was about 6ft 2in, had medium to large build and short thinning hair and stubble.
The man, thought to be in his late 20s, was wearing dirty white trousers and work clothes.
Investigating officer Geoff Brand from Epsom CID said: "I would appeal to anyone who was in the Longmead Road area of Epsom around the time the offence took place and who saw the vehicle, suspects or victim to contact officers with information.”
Anyone with information should contact Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference EP/13/708 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
