On February 13 you ran an article stating Croydon Council will start using a private firm to control litter (On patrol with the litter army).
I have no objection to that. However, I do have an objection that someone, could in theory, drop a £10 note and not know, and be issued with a fine to which there is no right of appeal.
Not only is this probably contrary to natural justice, but more in keeping with a totalitarian regime like North Korea!
Have our MPs in Parliament allowed this to happen, or were they not there when these regulations got through.
I don't blame Councillor Hoare, he as they say, "only obeying orders!"
