A pilates group in Cobham will attempt to break a Guinness World Record while raising money for charity.
Cobham Pilates will attempt to hold the largest ever pilates class on March 10 and raise £50,000 for Comic Relief in the process.
The Guinness World Records team have accepted their record application and they hope to reach their target of 1,200 people attending on the day.
Catherine Barrand, pilates teacher at Cobham Pilates, said: “There’s no need to have attended a pilates class before as a selection of straightforward, enjoyable moves will be taught.
“The ultimate goal is to raise £50,000 for Red Nose Day so please encourage your family and friends to offer as much support as possible.”
The group hope to have some celebrities involved and if the record is broken, all participants will receive an official Guinness World Records medal.
This session is open to everyone aged eight years and above, but under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
The largest pilates class will be held at ACS Cobham International School on Sunday, March 10, at 3.30pm.
