A Thornton Heath man has been charged with the murder of a teenager found stabbed to death in a stairwell.
Peter Hagan, 16, was attacked in the ground floor stairwell of Albon House in Neville Gill Close, Wandsworth, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
London Ambulance were called to the address at 1.30am, but the teen who was from Stockwell, was confirmed dead at the scene.
The tragedy is the second to hit his family after his cousin, Croydon rapper Carl Beatson Asiedu was stabbed to death three years ago.
Police discovered the 19-year-old's body when they stopped three cars seen running a red light in Waterloo on August 1, 2009.
Mr Asiedu, a rapper from Norbury, was found dead in one of the cars after being stabbed outside a nightclub in Vauxhall.
Junior Ademujimi-Falade, 21, from Camberwell was jailed for eight years after being convicted of Mr Asiedu's manslaughter in November 2011.
Romell Martin of Fairgreen Road, has been charged with Mr Hagan's murder.
The 21-year-old will appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
