About 30 firefighters are battling a blaze at a shop in South Norwood.
The fire brigade were called to the High Street at 10.56am to reports of a shop alight.
It is understood the fire is in a Nisa local supermarket.
Six fire engines have been sent to the scene and are working to extinguish the blaze on the ground floor.
Police are also at the scene and have closed the High Street between Oliver Grove and Portland Road.
Bus routes 75, 157 and 410 are affected.
London Ambulance have also been called, but it is not known if anyone is hurt.
