On Wednesday, February 13, at about 11am someone picked up a wallet and handed it in at Wands-worth town hall.
I do not know whether the person was a member of council staff or the public, because they did not leave their details, but I would like to express my heartfelt thanks.
My daughter dropped her wallet in the high street, but did not discover this until a few hours later. We were devastated, because it contained her college pass, Oyster card, driving licence, bank card and cash.
I was so surprised when we found it had been handed in. We were certain it would never be seen again. My daughter and I wanted to express our thanks, but this letter is the only way we can do so.
