The prestigious London Mozart Trio will once again take to the stage at the Vera Fletcher Hall.
The Trio, who formed in 1989, recently recorded the complete Rachmaninov Trios and have toured nationally and in Europe.
Colin Stone plays for BBC Radio 3 and has recorded many CDs, combining his performances with his work as a professor at the Royal Academy of Music.
Polish Krzysztof Smietana’s 2000 Wigmore Hall concert moved music magazine The Strad to write “some of the loveliest string playing I have heard” while Sagi Hartov’s wonderful cello playing has given pleasure to the Vera Fletcher Hall on many previous visits.
They will play Rachmaninov’s Trio elegiaque No 1 in G minor, Dvorak’s Piano Trio No 3 in F minor and Martinu’s Les Bergerettes.
The performance has been awarded a grant by the RC Sherriff Trust.
