Olympic medallist Joanna Rowsell was in Croydon last week as a part of a charity event.
The gold medallist from Cheam was at Croydon Arena, South Norwood, to take part in a cycling session put on by London-based disability charity Wheels for Wellbeing.
She also met with young members of Alopecia UK to share her story and provide inspiration to the youngsters.
Wheels for Wellbeing helps disabled people learn to cycle using a variety of specially designed bikes.
The charity was recently given an extra £10,000 of Lottery funding to extend its work to people who are blind and partially sighted.
