A scooter was seen crumpled underneath a car after a very serious accident seen by shocked passersby.
The driver of the light motorbike was seen being treated by paramedics on the roadside near the Brown and Root tower in Colliers Wood at about 7.15pm on Thursday, February 28.
The scooter had become wedged underneath the car but the driver had fallen off.
A witness said: “I saw a man lying with his head over the pavement and rest of the body on the road being attended by paramedic. The man appeared motionless.”
Another man who saw the aftermath said the car was “two feet off the ground” and they saw a someone being treated on a stretcher.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed paramedics attended the incident but was unable to say at this stage how badly any of the victims involved were injured.
