Police want to identify two men in connection with an attempted burglary in Croydon.
The two suspects had attempted to break into a family home in Norbury Crescent at about 11.15am on Thursday January 31.
Officers have found CCTV images of the two men they want to identify and are encouraging members of the public to come forward with information.
The appeal follows other recent burglaries which have targeted Asian households in Croydon.
Detective Inspector Brian Hobbs, from Croydon CID, said: "If you recognise either of these men, then please get in touch.
“If you have any information about these two, you can contact Crimestoppers, which is completely anonymous, and help us progress our enquiries.
“We know that several Asian households have been targeted by burglars recently and I would remind residents to make sure they're keeping their homes and possessions secure.
He added: “Thieves are targeting gold and jewellery so we would advise you to keep it in a safe and to keep good descriptions or photos of your jewellery items.
“If you've got particularly expensive items, then it may even be worth thinking about putting them into a safety deposit box."
Anyone who recognises the men or has any other information should call crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and quote the reference number on the image.
