The people behind the healthcare review threatening St Helier hospital services said they are keen to show it is engaging with people in south-west London.
The Better Services Better Value review was expected to make a decision on whether St Helier should lose its accident and emergency department in February.
But the review was postponed for a second time to allow for further consultation – leaving campaigners furious and calls for the review to be halted.
Dr David Finch, medical director for BSBV said: “In 2011 we began an in-depth conversation with residents in south west London which we would like to continue up to and during the public consultation.
“The BSBV team has been talking to local community groups and voluntary organisations over the last 18 months explaining the case for change and listening to any concerns.
"If you run a local residents’ group or charity and would like to meet with us please do get in touch with the BSBV team by email or phone.
“We will also be running an online survey to gather people’s views and concerns about local health services.
“Once the Clinical Commissioning Groups agree proposals for service change there will be a full three-month public consultation which will look at all of the issues in depth.
“This review is all about delivering higher standards of care and making local services sustainable. It’s important that people understand the case for change and that they have their say.”
The BSBV team is asking residents, community groups, charities and businesses to register their interest in the future consultation and how they would like to be involved.
