Dancers from a primary school were given the chance to perform at the London Youth Games last month.

Pupils from Rowdown Primary School performed at the opening ceremony at Crystal Palace Sports Centre on March 27.

They performed The American Dream, which was choreographed by Gemma Elsworthy.

The children previously won the Let Your Feet Compete dance competition earlier this year.

A spokeswoman for the school said: “The children were extremely excited to come together again to perform in front of 750 people at Crystal Palace.

“It was nice for them to be joined by Olympic weightlifter Zoe Smith who officially opened the games.”
