A young female driver was arrested after her number plate was recognised by police.
Paige Gordon, 19, of Livingstone Road, Thornton Heath, was arrested on April 25, after an operation using number plate recognition cameras targeted wanted offenders.
The suspect was brought to Sutton Police station for questioning, charged with robbery at a petrol station in Crystal Palace on April 19 and remanded in custody to appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates Court on April 26.
Officers were at a number of roadside locations across Sutton during the day.
Gordon will face trial for robbery at Croydon Crown Court on May 10.
