The largest provider of affordable housing in Epsom has been awarded the Investors in People Gold Award.

Rosebery Housing Association was presented with the IIP Health and Wellbeing Good Practice Award, for the way it treats its employees.

The Investors in People Gold Award recognises achievement in business practice and marks organisations as being at the forefront of people management.

Deborah Pike, chief executive of Rosebery, said: “We are proud to have achieved the IIP Gold Award, it’s testament to the dedication and professionalism of all Rosebery staff.”

To secure the gold award, an organisation must meet a total of 165 or more different standards, including 39 core accreditation standards.

Dianne George, Rosebery resident and member of the resident panel, said: “I became a resident in 2012 and I’m so impressed with how committed Rosebery is to caring for its customers. I think it’s wonderful that we have a landlord that acts on its promises.

“Rosebery’s mission is to make a positive difference to people’s lives and the organisation has achieved that through its staff.”
