Children learned how to make prints from leaves and plants.
The craft session took part in Tooting Library, in Mitcham Road, Tooting, as part of a day celebrating storytelling on Saturday, May 11.
Springtime leaves were collected in advance by Transition Town Tooting, a community group which focuses on green-living.
Visitors were also invited to bring their own leaves and garden plants from their gardens.
Children's librarian Bill Bawden also led a recording of Michael Rosen's We're Going on a Bear Hunt.
Story teller Emily Duizend gave a reading from Snakes, Lizards and Giants.
