For Laura Robson, the Wimbledon Championships is about one thing other than winning - home comforts.
As the 19-year-old gears up for her fourth round match today, the Australian-born rising star has revealed she loves nothing more than going home.
Robson has a home nearby and being able to return to its privacy and seclusion is why the world number 39 rates Wimbledon as her favourite Grand Slam.
She said: "I love all the tradition of Wimbledon and how polite the crowds are - they were really good in my [second round] match with Maria [Kirilenko], but then they are always good.
"Most of all I love that I get to stay at home and I love that the grass suits my game. On Monday I was able to practice for 90 minutes and then as soon as I got home I switched on the tennis.
"It’s pretty dorky really but it’s what I like.
"I tend to read a lot too, and my sister is obsessed with the film Thor. She’s made me watch that about three times already."
Robson defeated New Zealander Marina Erakovic on Saturday to reach the fourth round, equalling her best performance yet in a major tennis championship.
If she beats Kaia Kanepi today, she is likely to face defending champion Serena Williams in the quarter finals, scheduled for tomorrow.
