The songs of two childhood friends will be performed by a school orchestra next week as part of the International Youth Arts Festival.
Artist Andy Holden and friend Roger Illingworth have returned to the pop music they wrote as teenagers when they were in a band called The Grubby Mitts.
The songs have been re-worked and will now be performed by Tiffin School Chamber Orchestra and the Tiffin Children’s Chorus at the Rose Theatre on Monday, July 15 at 5pm.
The project, called Performing The Music of Mi!ms, has been commissioned by Kingston University’s Stanley Picker Gallery, where Mr Holden is a fellow.
