Film lovers braved the elements to enjoy the capital's first outdoor high street movie screening.
Sutton High Street hosted Sunset Cinema on Saturday evening. Although the weather was rainy, more than 100 people sheltered under their umbrellas to enjoy spooky classic Ghostbusters on the 24ft screen.
It is the first time a town centre has featured an outdoor projection cinema but will not be the last as three more screenings are planned this month.
The event was organised by Successful Sutton. Chief executive Ross Feeney said:"The weather was not kind to us on Saturday night, but we still had a great turnout. The screen looked fantastic in the High Street and I hope that over the next three films even more people will come and enjoy Sutton.
"We are hoping that people come and enjoy a meal or a drink at one of our great bars and restaurants and then round off the evening with a classic movie. Hopefully the weather will be better next weekend when we are showing Grease".
During the day, a replica of Ghostbusters car Ecto 1 was in the High Street to promote the evening's screening.
