19-year-old arrested for stealing iPod from BMW in Carshalton
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stealing an iPod nano last night following a police helicopter search in Carshalton.
At about 11pm police arrested the man on suspicion of theft from a BMW in Woodstock Road – near the junction with Ruskin Road.
They were alerted following a 999 call from a resident and the man was arrested not far from the scene.
The man continues to be questioned at Sutton Police station.
