A purple haze descended on Carshalton as people took part in the annual lavender harvest over the weekend.
Hundreds of people went to the Stanley Road allotments to pick bunches of lavender, watch demonstrations showing how the flowers are distilled into oil and buy a range of lavender-themed goods.
The harvest is an annual tradition and always takes place on the last weekend of July.
