Hundreds of people flocked to a village sweet shop which celebrated its second birthday by giving one lucky customer a year’s supply of sugary treats.
Home Sweets Home, in Ewell High Street, held a fun day to celebrate its milestone at which sweet-tooths were treated to face-painting, a bouncy castle and the prize draw on Saturday July 27.
Sophie Moore, 27, owner of the shop, which won Best Business at the Epsom and Ewell Business Excellence Awards 2012, sponsored by the Epsom Guardian, said: "Everyone had a brilliant day and luckily the rain held off for us.
"We've been here for two years and it it was as much a day for the customers as it was for us.
"The Home Sweets Home Company was designed to be a place for adults and kids alike to enjoy and Saturday really showed how much we've become a part of the community.
"The lucky winner of our year's supply of sweets competition can now gorge herself on them for the next 12 months."
