Metropolitan Police officers are investigating the crime
Thieves stole thousands of pounds in cash and left a 62-year-old man in hospital during a burglary in Addiscombe this morning.
Two men raided a house in Ashburton Road, where they assaulted the man and escaped the money shortly before 5.45am.
A 33-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary but neither burglar has yet been caught.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the thieves stole "several thousands pounds" and officers were investigating.
The 62-year-old man was treated in a south London hospital but has now been discharged.
