Southern rail services were among those affected
Commuters faced rush-hour rail delays this afternoon after a train broke down at Waddon.
Passengers on trains calling at stations in Croydon, Sutton, Clapham, Mitcham and Epsom have seen cancellations and delays of up 30 minutes.
Trains running between London Victoria and Sutton and London Bridge and Sutton have been affected.
Croydon Tramlink is accepting rail tickets between Beckenham Junction, Crystal Palace and Mitcham Junction.
