Children got an early taste of university life when they donned gowns and mortar boards for their nursery graduation.
Pupils picked up a pretend scroll in front of proud parents at Elizabeth Hammond Day Nursery in Whitehorse Lane, Thornton Heath.
Coun Yvette Hopley, Mayor of Croydon, dished out the honours to give the youngsters a memorable send off ahead beginning school in September.
