Police are appealing for witnesses after a man punched the bonnet of a woman’s car at a petrol station.
The incident happened at the Sainsbury’s petrol station, Bridge Way, Cobham at about 1.45pm on Friday, July 19.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, had filled her Porsche 4x4 with petrol and, after paying, asked the man in front of her to move his car so she could leave.
The man became verbally abusive and then punched the bonnet of the her car, which caused some damage.
The man was white, about 5ft 7in, stocky, with brown hair and blue eyes.
He was wearing a polo shirt with a company logo on and was driving pale blue BMW.
Witnesses are asked to call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference EL/13/4876, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
