An Oxshott hair salon has been nominated for three British Hairdressing business awards (BHBA).

Clay Hair Salon in High Street, won its first BHBA for best newcomer of the year in 2010 just after opening, and was a finalist for several categories in the 2011 and 2012 awards.

After rigorous judging from industry professionals, Clay has been nominated for salon team of the year, front of house team of the year and customer care award at this year’s awards.

James Davis, founder of Clay Hair Salon, said: “To be continually recognised for the third year in a row is true testament to my team and the consistency of excellence that they deliver. They are a solid unit and will do their most for everyone in and out of the Clay walls.

“Awards are great but what really keeps the team humble and grounded are the things that they can give back, and that starts with community support and the fundraising for the local charity Shooting Star Chase.”

The awards ceremony will take place in London’s West End on September 9.
