A sponsored one mile walk for dogs and their owners will take place at Brooklands Community Park on October 13.
For the second year running, Paws in the Park will be held by Woking & Sam Beare Hospices, and dog owners and their four legged friends can help raise money for this local cause.
The route has been tested by springer spaniels Ollie and Charlie and miniature Yorkshire terriers Timmy and Squiffy.
Owner of Ollie and Charlie, and fundraiser at the hospices, Anita Avery said: “It’s set to be a fun day out for all the family, and it’s great to have an event where we can include our canine friends who are such a big part in their owner’s life.”
Every dog will receive a certificate upon completion, and there will also be a best in show competition, dog tombola, refreshments and much more.
Start times will be staggered in order to accommodate for as many dogs and owners as possible.
