Comedian Jimmy Tarbuck was rebailed yesterday over inquiries into child sex abuse allegations.
The allegations date back to the 1970s.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “A 73-year-old man arrested in connection with an historic child sex abuse investigation in Harrogate has been re-bailed pending further inquiries.
"The complaint relates to an incident that occurred in the late 1970s when the victim was a young boy.”
Mr Tarbuck, a member of Coombe Hill Golf Club, was originally arrested at his New Malden home in April.
A second allegation arose in May.
Mr Tarbuck is married, with three children, including the television and radio presenter Liza Tarbuck.
