A man has been charged with murder after a triple stabbing on Monday against two women and a teenager.
Desmond Brooks, 40, of Elstead House in Redlands Way, Brixton Hill, was this morning charged by police with murder and two counts of attempted murder.
It comes after stabbings at two nearby addresses in the area on the evening of July 29.
Police were called to Redlands Way at 6.41pm, where a 46-year-old woman was found suffering from a number of injuries including stab wounds.
She is in a critical condition at a south London hospital.
Then at 7.10pm officers were called to Tilson Gardens, Clapham Park, following reports that two females had been attacked.
A 28-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene at 7.31pm, while a 17-year-old girl was taken to a south London hospital suffering from stab wounds. She is in a serious but stable condition.
Mr Brooks has been remanded in custody to appear at Camberwell Magistrates' Court later today.
