Pedal power raised more than £3,000 for a hospital radio charity.
Riders pedalled 50 miles through the Surrey countryside taking on part of the Olympic road race route rode by Sir Bradley Wiggins last year to raise the money for the Radio Marsden appeal.
The radio station faces being forced off the air after 44 years of entertaining patients at the Royal Marsden Hospitals in Sutton and Chelsea unless it raises money.
The AquAid sponsored bike ride, combined with community donations from Waitrose in Cheam and Asda in Burgh Heath as well as money from Sutton United supporters who completed a sponsored walk, means the appeal has raised more than £5,000 in recent weeks, taking the total to £30.000.
Radio Marsden chairman Jason Reynolds said: "We have been overwhelmed by the support and generosity of people who I have no doubt will ensure we will be broadcasting for many years to come."
